2 | eaches | Tb liquid Butter buds or fatfree chicken broth |
¼ | cup | Wheat germ |
4 | eaches | Tb quick oats oatmeal |
4 | teaspoons | Italian seasoning |
½ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
2 | cups | Green beans, cut in inch-and-a-half pieces |
1½ | cup | Sliced mushrooms |
1 | cup | Chopped onion |
1 | cup | Nonfat sour cream |
4 | teaspoons | Cornstarch |
Directions
In a 8 or 9" pie plate, microwave Butter Buds or chicken broth, wheat germ, oatmeal, Italian seasoning and garlic powder on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Remove mixture from pie plate; set aside. In the same plate, combine beans, mushrooms and onion.
Microwave on high 3-4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in combined sour crean and cornstarch, coating vegetables thoroughly.
Microwave on high 1½ to 2 ½ minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened; stir. Sprinkle reserved wheat germ mixture over the top before serving.
