Yield: 8 Servings
|3 cans||French-style green beans|
|1½ cup||Grated American cheese|
|1 teaspoon||Garlic powder|
|1 can||Cream of mushroom soup|
|1 carton||(8-oz) sour cream|
|\N \N||Crumbled saltine crackers|
|1 \N||Stick butter or margarine|
Drain 2 cans of green beans (reserve juice from third can). Mix cheese, garlic powder, soup & sour cream. Add this mixture to the green beans & stir well. Top with a thick layer of cracker crumbs & dot with pieces of cut-up butter. Pour into a 13x9-inch casserole dish. Bake at 300 for 1-½ to 2 hours.
