Gin punch

Yield: 6 quarts

Measure Ingredient
6 cups Water
2 cups Sugar
48 ounces Pineapple juice
48 ounces Grapefruit juice
8 ounces Cherries, maraschino; undrnd
2 cups Gin
33¾ ounce Ginger ale; chilled

Combine water and sugar in a large saucepan; bring to a boil, and stir until dissolved. Cool.
