Genelle's caramel corn

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
6quartsPopcorn; popped
2cupsBrown Sugar
2Sticks Butter Or Margarine
½cupDark Karo Syrup
1pinchCream Of Tartar

Directions

Boil brown sugar, butter, sugar and cream of tartar for 5 minutes. Pour over popped corn; stir and spread on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 250 for one hour stirring once or twice during baking.
