Genelle's caramel corn

Ingredients

6 | quarts | Popcorn; popped |
2 | cups | Brown Sugar |
2 | Sticks Butter Or Margarine | |
½ | cup | Dark Karo Syrup |
1 | pinch | Cream Of Tartar |
Directions
Boil brown sugar, butter, sugar and cream of tartar for 5 minutes. Pour over popped corn; stir and spread on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 250 for one hour stirring once or twice during baking.
