Foolproof dark chocolate fudge

Yield: 2 pounds

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips 18 ounces
14 ounces Sweetened condensed milk
dash Salt
½ cup Nuts; chopped to 1 cup
1½ teaspoon Vanilla extract

In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly into wax paper-lined 8- or 9-inch square pan.

Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature. Submitted By LAWRENCE KELLIE On 10-08-94
