Fettucine pie

½ | cup | Parmesan cheese -- divided |

16 | ounces | Crushed tomatoes |
2 | tablespoons | Butter -- melted |
1 | teaspoon | Oregano leaves -- crumbled |
Parsley -- chopped | ||
Salt and pepper | ||
¼ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
½ | cup | Mozzarella cheese -- |
Shredded | ||
4 | ounces | Fettucini |
Brown meat and onion in skillet. Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to boil. Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add mozzarella and 1/4c parmesan. Let stand 9-12 minutes. Meanwhile, cook fettucine. Bea Let stand 5 minutes. Turn out on round platter.
