|1 pounds||Ground meat; (you choose beef, elk, venison, turkey)|
|2 cans||(14 1/2 oz) red kidney beans|
|2 cans||(8 oz) tomato sauce|
|1 can||(14 1/2 oz) mexican style stewed tomatoes|
|¼ cup||Chili powder|
Brown and drain meat, add other ingredients and simmer 20 minutes or more.
Serve with cheese and crackers. This is a fast mild chili that the children love. My husband and I add hot sauce to ours. Of course, it is not as good as the chili you make with dried beans and simmer all day, but it works for a quick, inexpensive dinner.
