Everyday meatloaf

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
¾ cup Dry Bread Crumbs
2 larges Beaten Eggs
1 cup Milk
¼ cup Grated Onion
½ teaspoon Sage
1 teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper

Soak the bread crumbs in the milk. Add the ground beef, eggs, onion and seasonings; mix well. Form the meat mixture into a loaf and place in a loaf pan. Bake in a 350øF oven for 45 to 50 minutes.

Catsup or barbecue sauce may be spread over the top of the meat loaf before baking. Bake potatoes at the same time by starting them 15 minutes before meatloaf. From: Syd's Cookbook.
