English walnut broccoli

½cupButter or margarine
4xesChicken bullion cubes
cupWater
2cupsHerb flavored stuffing mix
4tablespoonsFlour
2cupsMilk
6tablespoonsButter or margarine
cupChopped walnuts

Directions

Cook broccoli, drain well and turn into a greased 1-½ quart baking dish. Crush bullion cubes. Melt butter in a heavy skillet over low heat. lend in flour and crushed bullion cubes. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Cook until thick and smooth. Pour over broccoli.

Combine water and remaining butter in a saucepan and heat until butter melts. Pour over stuffing mix and toss gently to blend. Add nuts and turn onto broccoli mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Submitted By MARK MIKLAS On 05-24-95
