Yield: 8 Servings
Measure | Ingredient |

5 cups | Sticks or 32 baby carrots |
1½ cup | Water |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
½ cup | Melted butter |
2 teaspoons | Honey |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
¼ teaspoon | Coarse pepper |
2 tablespoons | Lemon juice |
¼ teaspoon | Grated lemon peel |
½ cup | Coarsely broken walnuts |
Cook carrots in water with ½ teaspoon salt added, just until tender.
Drain well. Meanwhile, heat remaining ingredients except the walnuts. Pour this topping over hot carrots. Toss in walnuts. Tootie Note: I use the small baby carrots. Put in my Pampered Chief steamer with ¾ cup water or so and steam in microwave till tender and proceed.
