|6 larges||Tart green apples, such as Granny Smith|
|1 \N||Stick Butter or margarine|
|¼ cup||Pure maple syrup or honey|
|¼ cup||Sour cream|
|1 dash||Cinnamon (optional)|
This is the most delicious, nutritious, accompaniment to any main dish that anyone could possible serve.
Peel, core and slice apples into 1-inch slices. Melt butter in 10-inch skillet; fry apple slices 3 minutes on each side. Add remaining ingredients; stir well; cover and continue frying until crisp-tender or very tender according to preference. Serve warm or cold.
