Dutch treat fried apples

Measure Ingredient
6 larges Tart green apples, such as Granny Smith
1 \N Stick Butter or margarine
¼ cup Pure maple syrup or honey
½ cup Mayonnaise
¼ cup Sour cream
1 dash Cinnamon (optional)

This is the most delicious, nutritious, accompaniment to any main dish that anyone could possible serve.

Peel, core and slice apples into 1-inch slices. Melt butter in 10-inch skillet; fry apple slices 3 minutes on each side. Add remaining ingredients; stir well; cover and continue frying until crisp-tender or very tender according to preference. Serve warm or cold.
