Down-under apple pie

6 eaches Tart apples
½ cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Flour
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon Cloves
½ cup Flour
¼ cup Sugar
½ cup Grated cheddar
¼ cup Melted butter
1 x Sour cream (optional)
9 ins pie crust PIE: Peel, core, and slice thinly the apples. Mix

the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and cloves and toss the apples lightly in this mixture. Arrange the apples in the pastry-lined pan. TOPPING: Combine the flour, sugar, and cheese. Mix in the melted butter.
