½ cup Half and half
3 cups Flour
1½ teaspoon Salt
¼ cup Sugar
¼ cup Oil
¼ cup Cold water
1 \N 8 oz. cream cheese
⅓ cup Sugar

9 cups Apples; peeled and sliced
1 cup Flour
3 teaspoons Lemon juice
2 cups Sugar
2 teaspoons Lemon rind; grated
1 cup Walnuts; chopped
1 \N Egg

CREAM CHEESE TOPPING

Recipe by: Sue Klapper Preparation Time: 1:00 In top of double boiler, place caramels and half and half; melt caramels ov cup sguar; cut in butter. Combine oil, cold water and egg; stir into flour flour, 2 cups sugar and lemon rind; sprinkle over apples. Drizzle with lemo bowl. Spoon caramel sauce over pie in strips. Place cream cheese topping
