Measure | Ingredient |

½ cup | White rice |
¼ cup | Sugar |
¾ cup | Water |
1 teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
2 cups | Skim milk |
½ cup | Raisins |
Cook the rice in water over medium heat until tender, about 45 minutes. Add the skim milk & sugar. Cook slowly over low heat until thickened, about 30 minutes. Cook, add the vanilla & raisins and spoon into six serving dishes.
