|2 \N||Apples,cut into 1/4\" rings|
|⅔ cup||Dry red wine|
|¼ cup||Butter or margarine,melted|
|¼ cup||Brown sugar,packed|
|¼ teaspoon||Curry powder|
Soak apple rings in wine in covered shallow boal or baking dish 3 hours, stirring occasionally; drain. Set oven control to broil and/or 550'. Place apple rings on rack in broiler pan. Broil rings 5 inches from heat 3 minutes; turn. Mix remaining ingredients; spoon over rings. Broil until glazed and light brown, about 1½ minutes.
