Cucumber salad^

5 | mediums | Kirby cucumbers |

2 | smalls | Onions, thinly sliced |
1 | cup | White or cider vinegar |
Peel cukes and slice very thinly. Salt generously in a loarge non--metallic bowl. Weight down and let stand an hour.
Drain, mix with onion and pour vinegar over top. Let stand 10 minutes before
serving.
