½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | tablespoon | Flour |
1 | teaspoon | Dry mustard |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
2 | Egg yolks | |
¾ | cup | Cream |
¼ | cup | Vinegar |
Directions
Mix flour, salt, mustard and sugar in the top of a double boiler. Add butter and stir til mixed. While beating, add the egg yolks; stir well. Add the cream and lastly the vinegar.cook over hot water until it thickens. Strain if necessary. chill and serve cold.
