Cranberry nut holiday bread

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups All-purpose flour
½ cup Sugar
1½ teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Milk
⅓ cup Butter; melted
2 teaspoons Vinegar
1 teaspoon Grated orange rind
1 \N Egg
1 pack (6-oz) Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup Chopped cranberries
½ cup Chopped walnuts
\N \N Confectioners' sugar

6Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add milk, butter, vinegar, orange rind and egg; mix well. Stir in Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels, cranberries and walnuts. Spoon into greased and floured 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

Makes one loaf.
