3 slices | White bread |
1 cup | Milk |
½ pounds | Saltine crackers, rolled fine |
¼ teaspoon | Garlic salt |
¼ teaspoon | Onion salt |
3 \N | Eggs |
1 tablespoon | Butter |
\N \N | Flour |
Tear bread into small pieces. Soak bread in milk, add cracker crumbs, salts, eggs and butter. Blend until mixture will hold shape. Form into 6 or 8 cylinders 1 inch in diameter. Roll in flour until lightly coated. Drop into boiling salted water, cook covered for 20 minutes. Drain well. Garnish with parsley flakes. Goes well with pork or chicken.
