Recipe from 1904.
Mix all ingredients well. POur out onto well floured board. With rolling pin, roll out ½ batter at a time. Cut into 1 inch squares.
Drop one at a time into 2 quarts of boiling chicken broth in a 4 quart Dutch oven. Cook 20 minutes.
