Cinnamon-applesauce muffins

Ingredients

| ½ | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
| 2 | cups | Bisquick® baking mix |
| ¾ | cup | Unsweetened applesauce |
| ⅓ | cup | Packed brown sugar |
| ⅓ | cup | Chopped nuts; if desired |
| 3 | tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Ground allspice |
| 1 | Egg | |
| 3 | tablespoons | Butter or margarine; melted |
Directions
Heat oven to 450F degrees.
Line 12 medium muffin cups, 2½ X 1 ¼", with paper baking cups. Mix granulated sugar and ½ teaspoon cinnamon; reserve.
Mix remaining ingredients except butter with fork until moistened. Divide batter among muffin cups.
Bake until golden brown, 15-20 minutes. Immediately remove from muffin cups. While warm, dip tops into melted butter, then into sugar-cinnamon mixture.
