½ cup | Margarine or butter |
4 ounces | Unsweetened chocolate; (4 squares) |
4 \N | Whole eggs; lightly beaten |
2½ cup | Bisquick |
1¾ cup | Granulated sugar |
1½ cup | Coarsely chopped nuts |
½ cup | Butter |
4 cups | Sifted confectioners |
\N \N | Sugar |
2 tablespoons | Milk |
2 teaspoons | Vanilla |
TOPPING
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and chocolate squares together. Mix in the eggs, sugar, Bisquick and nuts. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch oblong pan. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Do not overbake.
Cool and cover with topping (follows). Cut into one-inch squares.
Topping: Cream all together and spread over cake. Melt 3 squares unsweetened chocolate (3 ounces) and spread evenly over top of topping.
Swirl with a knife. This is a different version of brownies.
