Chocolate fudge cookies

Ingredients

cupAll-purpose flour
1teaspoonBaking soda
1teaspoonSalt
1cupButter; softened
¾cupSugar
¾cupFirmly packed brown sugar
1teaspoonVanilla extract
2Eggs
½cupSugar mixed with
4tablespoonsCocoa
1pack(12-oz) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1cupChopped nuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large mixer bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Add your sugar and cocoa mixture and mix well. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.
