Fudgy chocolate cookies

2½ cup Semisweet chocolate chips
2 ounces Unsweetened chocolate square broken up
3 tablespoons Vegetable shortening, solid
½ cup Sugar
3 tablespoons Light corn syrup
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
⅔ cup Flour
½ teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Walnuts; chopped
