Chocolate coconut bars

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Stick butter or margarine melted
2 cups Chocolate wafer or
\N \N Chocolate chip cookie crumbs
2 cups Coconut; flaked or shredded
1 can Sweetened condensed milk, (14-oz)
12 ounces Semisweet chocolate chips

Press into bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake 10 mins. 2. Remove crust from oven. Sprinkle coconut over crust. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over all. Return to oven and bake 18 to 20 mins, or until coconut begins to brown lightly around edges of pan. Let cool in pan.

3. Spread melted chocolate evenly over top. Let stand until set or refrigerate until firm. Cut cooled cookies into 40 (1¾ x 1 ½-inch) bars.
