Coconut-cherry bars

½ | cup | Margarine; soften |
3 | tablespoons | Powdered sugar |
2 | \N | Eggs |
1 | cup | Sugar |
¼ | cup | All-purpose flour |
1 | teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
¾ | cup | Nuts; chopped |
½ | cup | Coconut; flaked |
½ | cup | Maraschino cherries |

Heat oven to 350~. Mix 1 cup flour, the margarine and powdered sugar.
Press in greased baking pan, 8" square or 9" square. Bake 10 minutes. Beat eggs; stir in remaining ingredients. Spread over baked layer Bake until golden brown, 25-30 minutes; cool. Cut into bars, 2x1".
