Chinese pepper steak #3

Ingredients

1poundsRound Steak, cut into thin strips
2To 3 T Olive Oil
½cupOnions, chopped
3Cloves Garlic, chopped
2Green peppers, cut into thin strips
½cupCelery, chopped
¼teaspoonPepper
½canConsomme, undiluted
1tablespoonCornstarch
2tablespoonsWater
2teaspoonsSoy Sauce

Directions

Saute steak in oil until brown. Add next six ingredients. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Blend cornstarch with water and soy sauce. Add to meat mixture and stir just until thickened. Serve with rice or pasta.
