1 pounds | Round steak |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Pepper |
2 tablespoons | Onion, chopped |
1 clove | Garlic |
2 | Green peppers |
1 can | Beef broth |
1 can | Tomatoes |
2 teaspoons | Soy sauce |
1½ tablespoon | Corn starch |
½ cup | Water |
2 tablespoons | Shortening |
Cut steak in 1 inch strips. Brown in shortening. Add all other ingredients mixing corn starch with water thickening. Cook at medium heat for 1 hour. My son enjoys this served over rice.
