Pepper steak

Yield: 3 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Round steak
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
2 tablespoons Onion, chopped
1 clove Garlic
2 Green peppers
1 can Beef broth
1 can Tomatoes
2 teaspoons Soy sauce
1½ tablespoon Corn starch
½ cup Water
2 tablespoons Shortening

Cut steak in 1 inch strips. Brown in shortening. Add all other ingredients mixing corn starch with water thickening. Cook at medium heat for 1 hour. My son enjoys this served over rice.
