Carob coriolanus

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Black mission figs
½ cup Water
¼ cup Dates, pitted
⅛ cup Water
1 tablespoon Carob powder
¼ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons Chopped walnuts

Soak the black figs for 2 hours in the ½ c water. Soak the dates in ⅛ c water for 2 hours.

Blend all the ingredients, except the wamnuts, in a blender at medium speed until thick and creamy. Pour into small dessert cups and sprinkle with the walnuts. Refrigerate until you are ready to serve it. Can be kept tightly covered in the refrigerator for 5 to 7 days.
