Caramel frosting #1

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Margarine or butter
1 cup Packed brown sugar
¼ cup Milk
2 cups Powdered sugar

Date: Sun, 26 Sep 93 19:52:37 PDT Melt butter in 2 quart saucepan. Stir in brown sugar. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir over low heat 2 mintues. Stir in milk.

Heat to boiling, remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm. Gradually stir in powdered sugar. Place saucepan in bowl of cold water, beat until smooth and spreading consistency.
