Caramel icing #2

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Butter
2 cups Sugar
½ cup Buttermilk
1 teaspoon Soda
2 tablespoons Corn syrup
1 pinch Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Mix all ingredients and stir over low heat until desired caramel color.

Beat until thick enough to spread over cake. Never gets hard. Soft and smooth.
