Caramel icing #2

Ingredients

1cupButter
2cupsSugar
½cupButtermilk
1teaspoonSoda
2tablespoonsCorn syrup
1pinchSalt
1teaspoonVanilla

Directions

Mix all ingredients and stir over low heat until desired caramel color.

Beat until thick enough to spread over cake. Never gets hard. Soft and smooth.
