Yield: 12 Servings
|1 cup||Ground pecans|
|1 pack||(6-oz) strawberry Jello|
|¾ cup||Eagle Brand milk|
|\N \N||Granulated sugar|
|\N \N||Slivered almonds|
|\N \N||Red & green food coloring|
Mix together coconut, pecans, dry jello, milk & vanilla. Mix thoroughly & chill for 1 hour. Shape into strawberries & roll in granulated sugar which has been tinted with red food coloring. Insert a tinted green sliver of almond for a stem. To make green almond slivers, put almonds in a small jar with a few drops green food coloring & shake. These 'strawberries' freeze exceptionally well & are very decorative for dessert trays.
