Chocolate-covered strawberries

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
5 ounces Milk chocolate
4 ounces Semisweet chocolate chips
3 pints Fresh strawberries, large with stems

kinds of chocolate in a small saucepan and stir over very low heat until melted. Dip in the strawberries one at a time until coated with chocolate, being careful not to cover the stem. Place the strawberries on a greased baking sheet or try and immediately place in the refrigerator.

Chill until the chocolate hardens. These can be prepared a day in advance.

NOTE: I have had these with this addition. Each berry was "injected" with Courvoisier or Grand Marnier liqueur. Using a clean hypodermic this can be done before or after dipping.
