Brownies

Measure Ingredient
2 1-Oz Unsweetened Chocolate
Squares
⅔ cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Flour -- sifted
⅛ teaspoon Salt
2 Eggs -- beaten
⅔ cup Walnut Meats -- chopped
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
½ teaspoon Baking Soda

Preheat oven to 375 F. Melt chocolate and butter in top of a double boiler and cool slightly. Then add all other ingredients in the given order. Mix well and pour into a greased 8-inch- square pan and bake for 25 mins or until firm whentouched in the cneter.

Yield: 16 brownies.
