Broccoli cheese soup2

Ingredients

| 4 | tablespoons | Butter |
| 4 | tablespoons | Chopped onion |
| 4 | tablespoons | Flour |
| 5½ | cup | Milk |
| 2 | teaspoons | Chopped chives |
| 2 | teaspoons | Parsley |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 3½ | cup | Grated Cheddar cheese |
Directions
Melt butter in saucepan. Saute onion for about five minutes. Add flour; stir until smooth. Add milk and cook for 5 to 8 minutes. Stir constantly.
As mixture thickens add chives, parsley, salt, broccoli and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Can put this in the crock-pot on medium to simmer.
