4 tablespoons | Butter |
4 tablespoons | Chopped onion |
4 tablespoons | Flour |
5½ cup | Milk |
2 teaspoons | Chopped chives |
2 teaspoons | Parsley |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
3½ cup | Grated Cheddar cheese |
Melt butter in saucepan. Saute onion for about five minutes. Add flour; stir until smooth. Add milk and cook for 5 to 8 minutes. Stir constantly.
As mixture thickens add chives, parsley, salt, broccoli and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Can put this in the crock-pot on medium to simmer.
