2½ cup | Vanilla wafer cookies;*, crumbled |
1 cup | Sifted powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons | Unsweetened cocoa |
¼ cup | Brandy or Kahlua |
1 cup | Walnuts or pecans;, finely chopped |
3 tablespoons | Light corn syrup |

Place cookie crumbs, sugar, cocoa, brandy or Kahlua, nuts and corn syrup in a mixing bowl. Mix until thoroughly combined. Shape by hand into round balls about 1 inch in diameter. Roll balls in powdered sugar to coat. Store in an airtight container for at least one day before serving to allow flavors to mingle. Makes about 3½ dozen.
NOTES : *This is equivalent to one 7 ¼ ounce box, or about 60 cookies.
