Bran muffins-in-waiting

Ingredients

| 3½ | cup | Wheat/Oat Bran Cereal |
| 2½ | cup | Unbleached All-purpose Flour |
| 2½ | teaspoon | Baking Soda |
| ½ | cup | Butter/Margarine, Room Temp. |
| 1½ | cup | Granulated Sugar |
| 2 | eaches | Large Eggs |
| 2 | cups | Butter/Sour milk. |
Directions
I use Whole wheat pastry flour for the unbleached flour and I also add 3 Tablespoons of Wheat germ. *sour milk is 1 cup milk 1 Tablespoon vinegar as a general rule 2 cups butter/sour milk = 1¾ c milk + 2 Tablespoon vinegar + 1 stick butter melted (has worked well for me).
