Boiled custard #2

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 quart Milk
2 \N Egg yolks; beaten
2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
⅔ cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
2 \N Egg whites; stiffly beaten
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Mix beaten egg yolks with sugar, flour & small amount of milk. Add rest of milk & cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Bring almost to a boil.

Cool. Add butter, vanilla & beaten egg whites. Serve cold.
