|4||Island eggs; separated|
|1 teaspoon||Vanilla extract|
|1 can||Pie filling; cheery OR berry OR poppy seeds OR apricot|
Cream margarine and butter; add sugar and beat well. Add egg yolks and vanilla, mixing well. Blend in flour. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into flour mixture. Grease and flour a 9"x13"x2" pan.
Spread ¾ dough across the bottom of pan. Spread pie filling across entire dough. Dot with remaining dough, here and there, over the filling. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. If using a glass pan, reduce heat to 325 degrees.
