½ pounds | Vanilla wafers; crushed |
2½ cup | Confectioner's sugar |
1 \N | Stick butter |
2 \N | Eggs |
1 quart | Strawberries; sliced |
2 \N | Bananas; sliced |
\N \N | Nuts; if desired |
½ pint | Cream; whipped |
Blend softened butter and confectioner's sugar, beating until creamy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each. Fold in crumbs. Spread evenly in 2-½ quart shallow dish. Add strawberries and bananas as next layer, spread even- ly with whipped cream and sprinkle with more wafer crumbs.
Refrigerate. Slice or cut in squares to serve. Serves 16.
