Blackberry-blueberry cobbler

| 1 | cup | Wheat flour |
| 2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ | cup | Butter; softened |
| 1½ | cup | Sugar; divided |
| ¾ | cup | Milk |
| 2 | cups | Blackberries |
| 1 | cup | Blueberries |
| 2 | cups | Grape juice or water |
Directions
In a bowl stir together both flours, baking powder and salt. Beat butter and 1 cup sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add flour mixture alternately with milk. Beat until smooth. Spread batter evenly over the bottom of a greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish or a 3-quart round dish. Sprinkle blackberries and blueberries over batter, then sprinkle them with the one-half cup sugar. Pour grape juice or water over fruit. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until a pick inserted in middle comes out clean. Serve warm with cream or ice cream. Makes 12 servings.
