Best ice cream - strawberry

Ingredients

| 2 | pints | Sweet frozen strawberries; thawed |
| 4 | Eggs; separated | |
| 1½ | cup | Sugar |
| 3 | pints | Half-and-Half |
| (peaches may be substituted for the strawberries) | ||
Directions
Mix sugar with egg yolks; mix well. Add a little Half & Half; mix. Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar mixture, strawberries and the remaining Half & Half. Put into ice cream freezer. Make as usual. Serves 6 to 10.
