Beef short ribs pacific style

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
3 \N To 4 lbs beef ribs*
1 \N Onion; chopped
1 tablespoon Butter
⅔ cup Catsup
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
2 tablespoons Cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Brown sugar

* Cut in 2 to 3-inch lengths Place short ribs on a broiler pan. Broil until well-browned to remove excess fat. Transfer to crockery pot.

Saute` onion in butter until limp and golden. Pour in catsup, soy sauce, vinegar and brown sugar. Heat until blended. Pour over ribs.
