Short ribs of beef

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 pounds Beef short ribs
1 \N Clove garlic
1 can Onion soup
\N \N Salt
2 cups Canned tomatoes
2 tablespoons Fat
\N \N Flour
\N \N Black pepper

Rub ribs with cut end of garlic, coat meat with flour, salt & pepper. Brown in fat on all sides. Add soup & tomatoes. Cover, cook slowly for about 2 hours or until tender. Add water if necessary.
