Beef pizza crisp

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
12 ounces Lean ground beef
1 pack Dry yeast
¼ cup Warm water
1 teaspoon Salt -- divided
¾ cup Flour
1 large Tomato -- chopped
1 tablespoon Green onion -- sliced
¾ teaspoon Oregano -- crushed
⅛ teaspoon Dried red pepper
1 cup Mozzarella cheese --

1 tablespoon Parmesan -- grated

Dissolve yeast in water in large bowl. Stir in ½ t salt, sugar and ⅔ c flour. Add remaining flour to form soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured board. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover. Let rest 10 minutes. Roll dough into 12 inch circle. Place on baking sheet. Crimp edges to form rim. Cover let rise 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400 F. Bake 4 to 5 minutes. Meanwhile cook and stir onion and tomato in large skillet over medium high heat for 2 minutes ; drain and set aside. Crumble ground beef into same skillet. Cook separating meat until no pink remains. Pour off drippings. Sprinkle remaining salt, oregano, and crushed red pepper over beef. Stir in mozzarella cheese and reserved tomato mixture; spoon evenly over crust. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake 6 to 7 more minutes until heated through and crust is brown.
