Measure | Ingredient |

1½ cup | Sifted all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons | Baking powder |
½ teaspoon | Soda |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
½ cup | Sugar |
¾ cup | Quaker Oats, uncooked (quick or old-fashioned) |
⅓ cup | Vegetable oil |
2 \N | Eggs; beaten |
⅓ cup | Buttermilk |
⅔ cup | Mashed bananas |
½ cup | Chopped nutmeats |
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar into bowl.
Stir in oats. Add remaining ingredients; stir only until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter into greased 8-½" x 4-½" x 2-½" loaf pan.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 F.) 55 to 60 minutes. Cool on wire rack about 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool thoroughly. Wrap cooled bread and store on day before slicing.
