Baked doves in sherry

2 | Bunches shallots | |
12 | slices | Slices bacon |
1 | cup | Sherry |
2 | cans | (4-oz) sliced mushrooms |
Directions
Salt and pepper doves; dredge with flour and brown in small amount of oil.
Place 3-4 shallots in chest cavity; wrap doves with bacon and secure with toothpicks. Place in pan; add sherry and mushrooms. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve sauce in pan with doves. Men like this one! MRS BIGELOW ROBINSON (JUDY)
