Aunt esther's porcupines

Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Ground beef
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
1 medium Onion; minced
¼ teaspoon Poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon Salt
⅓ cup Rice
¼ teaspoon Pepper
2 cups Tomato juice

Mix all ingredients, except tomato juice, with ½ cup water. Form in 8 balls and brown lightly in heavy kettle. Add tomato juice; cover, and simmer about 1½ hours, adding a little water when necessary.
