Appalachian bean loaf

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Beans -- mashed
2 cups Soft bread crumbs
2 \N Eggs -- beaten
1 tablespoon Butter
\N \N OR bacon drippings
¼ teaspoon Pepper
\N \N Milk
\N \N Salt
2 tablespoons Onion -- chopped

Combine all ingredients using enough milk to moisten. Pack firmly into well buttered loaf pan. Bake at 350F for 1 hour or until firm.

Serve with tomato sauce.
