Zucchini sandwich

1sliceItalian bread, toasted
1sliceProvolone cheese, cut to fit bread
½smallZucchini, sliced
1Thin slice Bermuda onion
1dashOregano leaves
2tablespoonsShredded provolone cheese
1sliceBacon, crisply fried and crumbled -OR-
teaspoonBacon bits

Directions

For each serving, top toast with cheese slice, zucchini and onion; sprinkle with oregano, shredded cheese and bacon. Cook uncovered on ungreased cookie sheet in 350 degree oven until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
